With Silvia Zanella of EY we wrote an entire book on this topic ( Personal Branding for the Company, Hoepli, 2019 ). I still smile thinking about the retrograde position of some companies on the impact that personal branding has on the business model of their organizations. Today there are dozens of companies across Europe who contact us to enhance the personal brand of their talents. There are numerous applications: the personal brand of the top management (including the CEO), which serves to position the company on that audience in which each of them is truly relevant; managers' personal brand to improve their leadership and influence the success of their teams, to attract more opportunities, clients and/or projects.

So no fear: valorising your skills and passions is not counterproductive: it is useful to each of us, as well as to the company we work for .
